The Wreck and Recovery of H.L. Hunley – Civil War Submarine

During the American Civil War, the Confederate submarine, H. L. Hunley, left the Charleston, S.C. harbor and sank the Union warship, the USS Housatonic. Soon after the attack, the submarine also sank. Learn how the Hunley was raised and excavated and what became of the crew in this incredible Civil War tale. Registration Required. Lecture fee $30.00 for general public, $25.00 for Gold Card Members.
